Enrichment classes are offered after school throughout the school year. Extra fees apply. Current activities are:
Sports Camp
Crossroads Sports Camp promotes health and fitness, team work, social skills and problem solving. Students are encouraged to work together, interact appropriately and follow instruction.
Arts Alive
Through the use of varied media, this class promotes artistic flair and imagination. Students are given the opportunity to write plays that are an interpretation of the art they each create. These plays are often acted out to friends, students and family.
Mythbusters
Is it myth or fact? This class investigates the science behind the myth. Students will enjoy a creative way of understanding science through ‘hands on’ activities.
Odyssey of the Mind
Odyssey of the Mind is an international education program that provides creative problem-solving opportunities for students from kindergarten through college. Team members apply their creativity to solve problems that range from building mechanical devices to presenting their own interpretation of literary classics. They then present their solutions to competition on the Local, State, and World level. Thousands of teams from throughout the U.S. and from about 25 other countries participate in the program.
Tutoring
Tutoring is provided on a one-to-one basis or in group sessions and is designed for students who require additional assistance in the basic skills. Special tutoring arrangements may be made by contacting the school office.
Summer Program
A Summer Program is offered in June and July. It contains activities for both the mind and body. We have a great combination of academic review, skill building, field trips, sports activities, games and art. Camp sessions are available weekly or monthly.
