Fall Festival 2011 – Celebrate America

“Fall like” weather had finally arrived. The Crossroads School family put on their annual Fall Festival on Friday, October 28th, “Celebrate America” Colonial Style. Students showed their spirit in colonial type dress. It was a fun-filled afternoon with crafts, including Broom Making and Whirly Gig Making. Students even made butter – the old fashion way.

There was a blacksmith, and lots of games like “hoop and stick.” When we say colonial, we mean colonial. “Celebrate America” took us back to a time we’ve all read about, but have not experienced.
